We get closer and closer to this:
The very 2.0T VTEC Honda engine from the Type-R.
The Civic Si is about to get an upgrade...

PSH they won't put that in the SI, or will they?

When that comes out, it'll be a great reason to not change the timing belt in my EM2. "Aw hell, I bent a bunch of valves...turbo swap time!"

It looks like the blow-off valve and associated hoses are integrated right into the compressor. The turbo is part of the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter is practically part of the turbo. Very compact!

I remember people throwing T3/T4 turbos on Prelude Si (h22) engines and pulling 350HP @ 7500 rpm in a ~3000lb car back in the early 2000s. Well, not for long, but at least for a quarter mile or so.
There's something massively satisfying seeing a small FWD car with a junkyard turbo walking away from a Firebird Trans Am with an LS1, cam, straight pipe exhaust, and ram air on it.

Meh. It makes power but it's low(ish) revving and only turbocharged due to emissions regs and the fact that Hondas are heavy enough to need 300 hp to be quick.

they never stated in which capacity my guess unfortunately is it's going to be used in CUVs, detuned.
